I'm afraid they will create more heroin addicts then helping people. They tried giving me Gabapentin for pain..as soon as it hit my system. .I felt like a peice of bacon in a frying pan! ! Then the hives came. I called the dr in and told her...I cannot win!! She shook her head. I said ya know what, if this or anything happens to me ever again. I will seek a doctor who does acupressure! ! I will take Eastern meds and perhaps I will get better this way. If I die, I promise to send the bill to you from beyond the grave. S.M.H..It's not like I haven't tried alternative meds. This mess has plagued me for over thirty years. There will be a time when I will become allergic to pain meds, then what?? They have to stop putting us together in a box. There are people who can safely handle these meds. However, yanking them after being on them for 17 years is very bad on the system. I felt like I was having a heart attack. I even had a few seizures. I brought the drugs in the mix because it was around this time last year, I lost my friend. I tell ya what I got, that makes me happy..it's all of you. We love, we love, we educate and we have sympathy where no one else understands. I created this group in her honor. ****due to my friends mother's wish, I don't use her name. My friend has earned her wings however, I still pray that I can find a way to make people aware of the downside of thier brilliant plan.
