My knees are so bad and so uncomfortable today I have no clue why my meds aren...
Its all most like haveing to stay in bed and never get out
I hope all your aches and pains go away soon. Pain just bites. My back has been hurting all week. Thankful for the pain free 3 weeks I had though.
hang in there everyone, as i say this to myself as well tonight. I think my pain is worse this week because it was back to school for my grand daughter, so thats up early and walking way more than we are use to, and driving, and standing lol need i go on... have a good night ladies, may you all be blessed with a restful sleep :)
Omg! I could have written this! I so know what you are going through. I havent slept in days because the constant ache in my knee keeps me awake. I have a high pain tolerance but this is ridiculous. What meds do you take? I honestly feel like if I didnt have children I wouldnt be here because living with this pain everyday is just to much sometimes. I have a full week of work, on my feet, next week and I dont know how Im going to do it. Thanks for posting because it does help to know Im not alone.
Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz, I am on morphine , metaxalone, for my stupid knees, fluoxetine ( anti-depressant) because if my knees and now
levothroxin for my thyroid because I guess the OA and bone on bone knees were not enough to deal with. What meds are you on? I am not working now, but I am looking we just can't afford for me to not work .No you are definitely not alone,I feel your pain.Hope you can find a little bit of relief even for just a little while.
Im hypothyroid as well. Also on levothroxin. I take medrol daily, 3200mg of ibuprofen and tramadol. I dont know if the tramadol actually works but it does help my mood a little. My job switched insurance so I havent been to the doctor since Mar. But Im going on Tues. Oh, and I have RA. What kind of doctor do you see for your knees.Ive tried a lot of the anti depressants but I could never find one that helped. Morphine is a strong drug..Im sorry its not helping. That must really be discouraging. Im hoping this new doctor gives me something for the pain.
I am on a low dose if the morphine, because I get sick, so I can take it up to 3 times a day but try to only take it twice because I hate feeling sick.I have a orthopedic specialist because this all started because I was born with knee defects in both knees I have had over 6 surgeries, none worked as well or long as planned, he said he can not do anything mire until I am 50 so I now go to a pain management doctor
Mary, when did you last get your thyroid levels checked? If my T levels drop too low I get extremely depressed and am then completely unable to mentally stand up to pain. I too am on thyroxine and painkillers - but have found keeping proper eye on T levels is extremely important. :)
Tessa Sellick, You are right, I got my thyroid checked ,I have hypothyriod . The doctor said it was actually really bad I have been on meds now for almost 2 weeks
