  • I agree:) i had my son scoped with negative labs, i just didnt want her to think she had to go straight to some huge procedure.

  • Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz, search Celiac Disease Foundation and "like" it is a great resource!

  • Good luck!

  • Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz for sharing.. best of luck !

  • What a wonderful post! God bless you and your son and I hope you can find the comfort and support for Celiac disease that you found here.

  • A lot of children with arthritis have a form of IBS. My daughter just recently tested positive for celiac as well. She has had arthritis for most Of her life. The celiac is a new discovery and we are having the same kind of issues with a whole lifestyle change. It is more than just diet. It costs more and it can be very frustrating and the whole family has to be willing to make a lifestyle change.

  • Karen you should stay not leave

  • Start your own FB sight. Someone out there will need you..but until that time...you have a sounding board for the days ahead when you are feeling alone....

  • Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz out glutenfreegirl.com. she writes a food blog and she and her daughter both have celiac. She writes extensively about her journey and cooking. Im sure she could point you in the direction of some support groups. She is super busy finishing a cookbook right now but if you mention my name it might move you up in the answer queue. (our kids are friends) good luck!!

  • With him having reactive arthritis, and the fact that many kids have more than one autoimmune disorder and may still actually have JIA, I think you should still stay as part of the group! We are all in this together regardless of "official diagnosis"!
