  • Welcomeeee! ❤❤ good luck at your appointment! And wishing you much zen in the meantime

  • Some people find that pregnancy improves their POTS symptoms. For me, it makes them worse. Good luck!

  • I've heard that. Hopefully I'm the former

  • I sure hope so. If not, remember that keeping mom healthy will also keep baby healthy even if it means you have to take meds that may be risky. You do what you have to do. A miserable mommy isn't good for baby either. So don't let anyone make you feel guilty for taking care of yourself.

  • Tysm for that advice

  • Congrats! I understand the fear at first—mine was unplanned, as well, because we decided that it wouldn't be good for me to be pregnant. We're soooo excited now, and because I'm almost 34 and my fiancé is 43, our window was quickly closing, so the whole thing has been a miracle.

I'm one of the people who POTS/dysautonomia symptoms have almost disappeared since becoming pregnant in August. :) Even the symptoms of gastroparesis and an IgA deficiency are gone, and I've been able to stop taking oxycodone since the pain had lessened greatly.

    Good luck!!

  • Congrats! I've been feeling less symptomatic and I'm hoping that continues.

  • Congrats. I am taking everything but the kitchen sink to stay "healthy"...only came off of one medication.

  • My POTS was much better in pregnancy, if it's any comfort.

  • It is. Thank you.
