  • Bath have a hypermobility specialist team with great inpatient and outpatient physiotherapists and great equipment. I'm not sure what they do about medication as my GP prescribes mine although pain clinic want to reduce it. I found the team at bath fantastic and very understanding.

  • I was sent to Sheffield after I had seen the Liverpool womens genetics. I am just curious who your bowel Dr is? I live in northwich and haven't found one who will actually listen to me regarding my bowels and EDS x

  • Oh wow, I live in crewe so we're quite near! I see Dr Omerod at Salford royal and now Dr Watson at Salford who's a bowel surgeon. How were sheffield with referrals? Xx

  • I think im going to ask to go to sheffield children's. Do you know how you get referred there?

  • They were OK, it had come from another consultant so I didn't have any problems x

  • It has to be from another consultant such as a rheumatologist or genetics.

  • Physio referred me to hydro and ot, it doesn't need to be a dr.

  • Manchester Royal Infirmary are great.

  • Oh okay then, my bowel doctor is referring me for genetics there so im assuming I'll actually see a doctor, not just have the blood tests x

  • Bath hospital. My consultant at RNOH Stanmore Dr Helen Cohen, recommended it to us when my daughter moved to Bristol.
