  • Sending caring thoughts your way. I'm so sorry you went through this!!!! I hope you find a good attorney. I had a boss who was not supportive and I finally got fired. I worked a couple of part time jobs until so couldn't handle working anymore. Now I am trying to file for disability and homeless. It's a tuff road, but you have to do what you have to do.

  • What?! I have no advice but that is terrible, really. Those of us who are lucky enough to work are slaves to it, just to keep up the pace. And keep smiling. I was just about to post a post about how my work situation is really contributing to my endless recent Uveitis flare, my absolutely worst eye flare up of all (months of all types of injected ingested Pred to no avail). I feel like we're just expected to keep on going till we drop. I'm sorry for my rant. I've had a hard day at work, a shit homecoming and I feel your pain! How's your knee?

  • Used Premier Disability Attorneys for my shot at Disability. I had no diagnosis yet but won my first time around. I highly recommend them. You can mention my name if you'd like. They're on the Net.

  • The Advocacy Group 877-261-1947. Feel free to use my name for a referral. They are handling my claim. Thanks

  • Thank you guys I will look into these places! :) my place of employment has been super nice and given me the day off tomorrow with pay since the elevators will not be working tomorrow either. I'm excited to call a lawyer tonight about this building-I'm furious at this!

  • Are they a national firm or in your area?

  • Are they a national firm or in your area?

  • Contact city hall. Some cities would rather know what is wrong then have an ADA law suit filled.

  • They are a national company. I live in Kentucky and they are in Massachusetts. They have been wonderful to work with.

  • Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz they are in MN. I'm in CA.

  • Oh man, so sorry to hear that. I hope it all gets approved quickly with no hold ups! It was a long day. Lots of tears but I'm a fighter!

  • Omg! Jeez, uveitis is one thing I haven't experienced yet and it just can't even imagine the pain. I'm so sorry :( it's true, we are just expected to do so much. I got lucky with my job today. I had to walk back down the stairs to leave, my knees were so much better going down, I was VERY careful. I put a lot of pressure on my hands and the railing. But my lower back was BURNING. It was insane, it was burning like my elbows do sometimes. But my job is giving me tomorrow off because it won't be fixed. The guys who own the building are slumlords or something, must be.

  • Ok, thank you

  • Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz thank you!

  • Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz thank you!

  • I used Binder and Binder I'm not sure what stars they are licensed in. I just heard last week from them that I received a fully favorable decision..

  • Were you denied before? I could not find an attorney to represent me until I had been denied once or twice. I have already been unemployed for over a year. I've sold everything I can. I am really in trouble if it takes another year or more! Yikes!

  • Thank you!!!

  • Xxxxxxx Yzzzzzz I wish you the best! Glad this info can help us all so much

  • Can I just say how much I LOVE this group!!!

  • I'll be calling these places tomorrow!

  • Best wishes Kim.

  • Kim, Premier took me and it was my first time applying. I didn't even have a diagnosis yet, just a host of symptoms. Got it in about a year first time around.

  • Thank you!

  • Thank you so much for sharing this information!
